We knew Dan for many years and he was truly a great person. His greatest quality was his humour, he could make you laugh under any circumstance.

He loved the East Coast and always had a story to tell. He would always be asking when are you going home?

You are there now Dan, rest easy my dear friend ❤️❤️❤️

Our sincerest, heartfelt condolences to the Campbell family during this difficult time. Dan was our dear neighbor and close friend. He never hesitated to offer his help when ever needed. His presence was always a source of comfort to us. He was honest, sincere and compassionate and had a heart of gold. We are devastated by the loss and will hold Dan in our hearts forever. My heart is broken, and I’m in complete shock and disbelief. Dan meant so much to my family and me. He touched so many people’s lives. He had such a big heart and always wanted to help anyone that he could. He was always up for an adventure.

I met Dan when I was 10 years old; over the years he’s taught me so much. From baking cakes, BBQ-ing to changing tires and doing oil changes. Dan never shied away from a challenge; he could do anything and everything. He loved being outdoors, loved motorcycles, and cars; he could tell you everything about a car just from hearing it drive by.

He meant the world to my sisters and me; he had a heart of Gold. He was always there for us whenever we needed him. He believed in us, even at times when we didn’t believe in ourselves. He made us laugh, always tried to embarrass us in public, got into heated debates. Nothing will ever be the same without Dan the man.

My deepest heartfelt sympathies to all of Dan’s family and friends. I pray that God gives them strength during this painful time. I know He’s in a better place, watching over us all.

Rest in Peace Dan, and know that you are deeply loved and missed.

Dan meant so much to my family and I. He was so kind, generous, and understanding. I was in complete shock to learn about his passing and I still am. It does not seem to be real at all. He has been apart of my life since I was 8 years old and was there for every big milestone. Nobody will be able to come close to the impact Dan left behind. I’ll miss the adventures, backyard BBQ’s, card games, and bonfires. The way he had to mimic the noise of a nice car driving by, the constant bragging of how his car was “mint” and constantly asking “how” when he really meant to ask “why”. I’ll cherish the memories forever. My deepest condolences to the family. R.I.P. Dan.

I met Dan in 2006. He was an amazing human being. Dan was a big part of my family. Nothing will ever be the same without Dan. He was so involved in my family’s life, always willing to help. He was an amazing wonderful, warmed hearted friend. He meant a lot to my family. There is not one corner in my house which does not remind me of Dan. Any house project he was always willing to help, ALWAYS. There will never be anyone like Dan. He touched so many peoples lives.
I will forever cherish all the precious memories. I was so blessed to know him and be able to call him a friend. He was taken from this world way too soon. I pray that God gives his family and friends strength to get through this tragic painful time.

Sending my sincerest condolences to all of Dan's family. He will certainly be missed by all who knew him. He was such a great guy with an awesome sense of humor and he had such great pride of his family. May God Bless you all and give you strength to get through this terribly sad time.

Dear Alva, Howard, Sarah, Patsy and family and Barb,

I am so heartbroken for all of you and deeply saddened by the news of Dan's sudden passing. There are so many wonderful memories and good times that we can all look back on. Dan was one of the good ones, always there for everyone. He always kept my old klunkers driving years ago and can still hear him trying to convince me some old car was "mint."
Seems like a lifetime ago we all lived together on Memory Lane, and I'll never forget that drive home to the Gaspe for Christmas, seven of us in a van with no heat and no seats, Dan driving in a skidoo suit and sleeping bag!!

Please know I am thinking of all of you and I know your faith will see you through.

Dan was a man who could make the impossible, possible with just a screwdriver and nails. He was a soul full of love and adventure. Meeting him at 5 years old, I could never imagine the imprint this man would soon leave on my family and I, now everywhere I look in my home I see a piece of him in every room. It breaks my heart to believe he no longer will be there for our bbqs, bon fires, and game nights and the hours long drives but I know he will always be there in spirit. Dan put up with me a lot, but he was always clear that he would always be there for me. He taught me how to drive, he helped me learn how to rollerblade, helped move me in to my dorm room. We shared countless amounts of memories that I will always be so thankful for. My heart goes out to his family and friends, may God give you strength to guide you through this tough time. Love you dan. Rip angel, until we meet again❤️

Such a tragic and unexpected loss. Thanks for being a great cousin. Your kindness was so appreciated and never went unnoticed. I guess the good Lord needed another angel up above to help out. Keep an eye on Trevor and Gordie.

i remember back when myself and dan and his cousin gord worked at speedy muffler on king street with my brother inlaw bernie we had lots of good times together.dan would be working on some sort of project all the time and if needed something he would help out. a true friend to all of dans family my deepest condolences.

To my dearest friend Dan.. I am still in shock. Our friendship is something i will cherish. We meet in 2006 at Automodular at auto plant where we both work. LOL man ya made me laugh every day. There are so many great times but the bike trip in 2013 stands out. i bike to about Montreal where we meet on highway. Ya made so fun at me tears in me eyes..lol. He show me where he grew up. Where all his family live. History... His history... He let me in to his heart where a true friends are friends for life. Not afraid to tell ya in person or to say here... I miss ya .. I love ya my buddy.. Just lost for words... So many stories.... We click... We stay in touch over the years that i move away from Ont. Just pick up like it other day..... I am at a lost for words I am grieving along with you. Danny was one of a kind, he had a gentle spirit, he had a giving heart, he always lend a hand if he knew you needed the help. I have so many fond memories of Danny from days spent back at your father's days spent at your mother's when she lived at Basil's days in Toronto at Sarah's. He was family ~ You are family
