Sister Cécile Don Carlos (Marie Gracia) passed away at the Daughters of Jesus residence in Rimouski on February 24, 2025, at the age of 96 years and 3 months after 74 years of religious life. She was the daughter of the late Albertine Paquet and the late Édouard Don Carlos.
Sister Cécile Don Carlos's ashes will lie in state in the chapel of the Daughters of Jesus Residence located at 949 Boul. St-Germain, Rimouski, on Friday, May 9, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Celebration of the Word following at 7:30 p.m. The funeral will be held in the same chapel on Saturday, May 10, at 10:00 a.m.
She is survived by the Sisters of her community, as well as her sister Jeannine Don Carlos (Leslie Baikie), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Several brothers and sisters predeceased her.

J'ai travaillé plusieurs années avec Cécile en radiologie du Centre Hospitalier de Notre-Dame-du-Lac et j'en garde un précieux souvenir. Cécile était là plus agréable personne à côtoyer et était appréciée tous. Repose en paix Cécile.
